The Bible in 90 Days: Week 7 (March 18, 2011)

Reading This Past Week: Psalm 25–Proverbs 6

Thoughts From The Reading: I have been very sick this week. Being sick and reading the Bible in 90 days is not a good combination. Therefore, I have gotten behind significantly. I guess the catch-up day fell on a good week, for that will be one less day I will get behind. I will catch up by next week, but for now, it is overwhelming.

What about you? How are you doing? I asked last week to think through which Psalm would have been your favorite? Have an answer to that question?

This is the reading for the next couple of weeks. Enjoy. If you are behind like me, try to catch up.

Glory to Jesus

  1. Put my nose to the grindstone/Kindle and got caught up and partway into tomorrow's verses. Used the app on my phone a bunch the past few days. It's easier to read, handy and I don't find myself 'speed reading' as much. What I do miss is being able to underline verses that I want to go back to. Easy to do on a 'real' Kindle though. I've played with JoAnn's a gadget.
What I noticed from Psalms was seeing the verses that have been into songs/hymns. Guess that is a bit of a no-brainer since the are songs/hymns. Just gave me a new appreciation for the songs we sing during worship.
Well, about time to hit the hay. Might try to get a couple of chapters in before bed.
Hope ya get to feeling better Dr. Thad.
